Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy is a realistic strategy game that accurately recreates the tactical land warfare experience in Western France during World War II. The game covers the three-month period following the Allied D-Day landings, from Operation Overlord in June through the Cobra Breakout in August. You can command the full array of American and German Heer formations fighting along the coast through to the interior of France.

The game includes four challenging campaigns, 21 standalone scenarios, and a plethora of Quick Battle maps that will test your tactical acumen. The highly detailed combat equipment, including 67 vehicles and dozens of various small arms and heavy weapons, matches the painstakingly researched battles. Combat Mission also has innovative systems that portray Fog of War, Spotting, Line of Sight, Command & Control, and Objectives.

The game offers a unique hybrid system for RealTime and WeGo (turn-based) play, and a full-featured Editor for maps, scenarios, and campaigns. Combat Mission Battle for Normandy also has a Quick Battle system that sets up deliberate or randomized battles based on player specifications.
